“If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around….”

Chick Flicks Against Cancer are holding are holding a charity screening of the beloved Christmas Movie ‘Love Actually’ on Thursday 13th December in the Mall Arts Centre in Youghal. All proceeds from the event will go to Cork ARC Cancer Support House, 29 Friar Street, Youghal, which serves all of East Cork & West Waterford.

“We are hoping that the ladies of East Cork and West Waterford will come out in force to support this event” said Anne Craughwell, who is involved in the organising Chick Flicks Against Cancer. “There are few families who have not been touched by cancer. This night is a chance for ladies to relax and take some time out of what may be a difficult time. Love Actually is a fantastic Christmas movie, so will provide a lovely evening’s entertainment and escapism for all.”

The event is being kindly sponsored by many local businesses. “East Cork has provided overwhelming support to us for this event and it just goes to show the strong community spirit that exists in the area. We are so grateful for all the help and encouragement from all involved.”
